I think the biggest mistake "fans" make is humanizing the entertainers. If you see them as lesser beings, everything becomes simpler and a lot more fun.
You wouldn't get emotionally invested if you saw two monkeys throwing shit at each other, would you? You'd just laugh and have fun at their expense. That's what it's like when you see them as mere monkeys dancing for your amusement.

Proper viewpoint. Wrestlers are entertainment automatons to me, when they aren't on TV they don't exist and I don't care about their view on anything. When AI gets good enough to procedurally generate wrestling shows I will enjoy it just as much. I view actors and other performance artists the same way.
