He won't be over for long. Fans will get sick of him. They always do. He'll have go away heat within a year. He should have taken a Lesnar deal and wrestled a few times year and simply spent the rest of the time raising his African baby. I'm glad he's doing well in WWE but equally happy he's gone from AEW.

His run was so shit in AEW. A bunch of "passionate" promises and promos not going anywhere. The fans wondering if Cody was steering the ship, but that was his gimmick apparently?

His entire run in AEW was a waste of time, and I hope he stays in WWE. I like Cody, I just don't want to see him wrestling, or cutting a promo. Stay in WWE, Codester.

He's on the go away heat clock. Endless pointless matches against jobbers like Ludwig Kaiser, integrating himself into everything. WWE fans aren't loyal. Too many appearances and they'll hate him. Hopefully they have a good heel run planned when he starts getting the Roman boos.

Cody was fun to boo because he's the type of nigga to get a neck tattoo then dress up as star trek guy and make the whole roster come out with him during his entrances. No one ever talks about the time Brandi got worked during her last promo when the crowd told her to shut the fuck up. They both left shortly after this moment so I wouldn't be surprised if someone told Cody his wife needed to get off TV and that was the final straw because she never appeared again. Never had a match with PVZ or got mentioned again

As far as loyalties are concerned, you could say he was betraying AEW by leaving but you could also argue he was betraying WWE by staying.

He's absolutely not. We've had a dominant heel champ for almost 3 years now so Cody as a white meat babyface is a welcome change. Cheers for him are only getting louder and louder and if he gets a good program post-Mania he'll be more over than Seth for example ever was.
