It's literally an AEW problem and it's been going on for a year now. The Rollins trilogy did a similar thing with the accolades. Just because you thank Tony everytime he shits in your mouth doesn't mean ordinary human beings would do the same.

There are only 4 titles that have any real claim to the lineage of the original Worlds Heavyweight Title. NWA, WWE, Impact, & Zero1 all have lineage that can be traced back to the original Worlds Heavyweight Title; NWA & Zero1 have the oldest link, then WWE, then Impact.

IWGP and others like it had proved their worth as a World title based on varying factors.

Titles like GCW are just regional titles.
