>>9512285It isreally not a great period for NXT. Just like with AEW, the roster got too big, there's been too much for Shawn to keep track of and he's had to make all kinds of multi-person matches to get people on the cards.
Bron vs Melo should be a good one. I feel it's a bigger match than its been promoted as.
The women's ladder match won't be that good and someone's probably getting injured. Indi's sloppy enough in a normal match, yet alone with weapons involved. They totally botched the Gigi/Jacy feud and Gigi's dead in the water if she loses here, but she hasn't been pushed like she's going to win this.
The 5-way is going to be a spotfest. If they don't overdo it it could be fun. Dragon Lee should win since it's his debut. My concern is what happens after though? Wes isn't going to have much to do without the title since he's not a strong character. Ilja should win and if he loses, I don't know what would be next unless you put him with JD again.
The Waller/Gargano storyline has sucked. Shawn could pick ANYONE to beat up Waller and he picks Johnny Gargano over people like Dabba Kato, Dijak, Von Wagner or other big dudes who on paper would be able to beat the crap out of Waller. Waller being afraid of Gargano is also stupid.
The men's triple threat was thrown together. Tony and Stacks don't really even team yet are getting a title shot and Gallus' act is not working in NXT USA. I just don't think that a three way fits the strength of Gallus or Tony D and Stacks while a multi-man match like that is perfect for the North American Title guys.
I don't have high hopes for the women's tag match, but at least they've done a good job with the Kiana/Fallon/Briggs/Jensen storyline.
Chase U vs Schism is going to be interesting. It'll be the TV debut of Ava Raine which is fairly significant. I want Chase U to lose so bad so we can get some fun Schism U skits. There's just so much you can do with that. My guess is that Duke finally turns on Chase U.
