Unironically what's the point of finishing moves since it's a guarantee that in every big match the you get at least 2 finisher kick outs now

this what TV matches are for. building credible finishers. but I agree no-selling finishers is a big issue.

This is why TV/House show style matches are the backbone. But they don't get the ratings or glory so people only study/watch the PPV epics, thus not getting the full context

At least that's a hold and it just works better as a mid match struggle spot. And it's more satisfying to see him win with low blows and schoolboys and holding the tights or using the ropes for leverage

I prefer it when finishers might not be enough. It's better when it's uncertain exactly when a match will end. If you know for sure that one move will 100% end the match and any other move will 100% not end it, there's less tension

I'd rather they just win more matches with non finishers than rape the credibility of their finishers. It's not like matches nowadays ever end except with finishers.
