Hey MM. Since we are out of Spaghetti Town, I did have a few thoughts about the sortof matches you've listed.

Can I suggest that they are scheduled officially as going to take place at a certain time (ie. "24 hours from now I'll post this match"), so those involved can use the time to promo on each other? This would stop the situation of something like Sheila/MM coming unexpectedly.

It's just something I think would help build hype for even the less "exciting" matches, and let us all have fun guessing who will win and what it might lead to in storyline etc.

Of course, anyone can still request any match ups they want, they just won't happen "immediately".

I have no issues if there are promos between two active people and they promo "oh yeah well meet me in the ring RIGHT NOW" etc. Those are always fun and can lead to some great excitement when the match is an unexpected banger (or Sue Plex DOMINATES).

I'm just a big believer in knowing what's coming and being able to work it into my own character stuff if need be. Such as going to see a friend before a match, or shit talking a heel before their match etc.

Because of that 1/1000 ending at Waifus Collide, the main event was set in stone for Spaghetti Town. This however meant that the rumble winner had to wait until Bishojou for their title shot. The Duna/Kuro program worked in my oppinion, quite nicely to fill the gap. I wasn't expecting a Queen/Farmer Girl re-run as the semi-main again. But it worked quite nicely as well. Farmer Girl was a great promo and her fire will be missed. Curious to see where the Queen will go from here.

The IC title got hurt a bit by Winter Girl's absence, but the Priscilla and Violet feud built ontop of that quite nicely to see which one of the two could out bitch each other. As a heel, Priscilla is a great character, lifted up further by anons that post the rest of the Divine Angels. Lillith, Lillith, Lillith. A match that followed up from the Waifus Collide match. Lillith remains a fan favorite (me included). Lillith want WAR. Probably one of my favorite entrances in the roster. Emotional build from both Lillith and RRanon. There were no winners, only emotional damage. Ash V Croakie. Another match spawned from short interactions between characters at the Rumble. Ash needed the win, but shame the No Holds Barred stipulation barely came into play.

Tropical Lovers V NATO. Kind of a late addition to the card, one that I didn't really expect, as I was fine sitting out the PPV in it's entirely. Yet it made sense for the tag belts to be on the line. The build was kinda lackluster, though I did appreciate Hailey's 'tard-cup' moment. But then Miss USA had to drop that quite literal bomb, and I had to respond in my own way. Longest match on the card. Tag matches are usually good for that. Nikki Kade V Amy Flame. Good interactions between the characters. Pretty solid match. Curious to see where both characters go from here. Psychotic Nikki is a delight as always. Holly Hope-Again V Ranger Rabbit, opener between two Dojo stars. Fine match, Rabbit is in my eyes, a funny character, which matches well with Holly's 'self proclaimed next big thing in wrestling' including Steiner math.

Syber V Ava Mortis. First title match on the card, build wasn't really there. But it can't be helped since Syberanon said before that they didn't really have the time to hang around. Still, quite happy with how the match turned out. Hardcore matches are usually a hit or a miss, but this one was very much a hit. Not 23 baseball bat hits to the head kinda hit. But a hit nonetheless. 8 woman Battle Royale. A nice and tasty opener. It was a good idea to raise the stakes a little bit. I suggested an informal 'best girl' title. But the giftcards and a handshake were a kino touch. Did not expect Minnie Moo to end up in the final two. Hell I didn't even suggest Minnie to be in the match, someone else threw that in there.

Preparation wise, this PPV was a lot less stressful on me then Waifus Collide, as the CAW's that needed to be there were already done for Waifus Collide for the most part. We saw some new and updated ones, notably being Nikki, Priscilla and Kelly Omega, but I only had to downloads those. It was a bit of a hassle to figure out WHEN we were holding the PPV, with a few dates being floated around and the PPV in general being postponed a few days, since I wanted to run the coming weekend until someone mentioned that it's WM weekend then, and fuck running an event against that.

A max of 3 matches per day is a nice bit of breathing space in my oppinion, allows me to make multiple takes of matches to make sure that the quality of them is up to par with what I expect of a PPV.

Matches that needed multiple takes and why:

Hardcore match: I always have multiple takes of title matches, if only to make sure that the best one goes out. The first take only had two chair shots and a ladder nudge, so I discarded that one to get one with a lot more weapon violence. Sadly, no stop sign yet.

Tag Title Match: First take also had Surfer girl pin Miss USA, but the second match was just longer and better IMO.

IC title match: First recording had Winter Girl pin Priscilla whilst Violet laughed and taunted, only to then attempt and break up the cover at the 2 count. Didn't make much sense. Therefore, discarded.

Duna V Kuro: First recording had Kuro also going over 2-0. I wanted to see if I could get a 2-1 result, but alas. I only had time for two recordings since I overslept.

Main Title match: multiple recordings and a tweak of both CAW's was neccesary (lower offensive stats, higher defensive stats) to make sure that the match went over 10 minutes, which was my time limit minimum for a main event. Lots of near falls, lots of rope breaks. One of the best matches on the card.

Great idea about tweaking main event stats. You could even bump them waaaaay down for a super long match one day. I'd have no issues with that, or even for any one on one title matches, which hopefully will be many more of them going forward. It might not be a bad idea in general to just make the champs that *little bit* better than the challengers to give them an advantage.

I could be wrong but for my own messing around it seems the difficulty setting also influences how the AI plays against itself. When my difficulty is on normal the matches seem shorter than when it’s on legendary. On legendary everyone seems to usually need to hit their finisher twice to go over and there’s more kino near falls

Vision for the future:

I've got a few things in mind. One of them being introducing the new ring that Warhorseanon made and uploaded. Use that for 2 PPV's as well before rotating in another one. Keeps things fresh. Maybe give Bishojou an open arena feel thing too, sand on the floor outside and maybe even inside the ring.

I wasn't able to get busy with the custom entrance thing. Life's been very busy, I apologize for that one. I'll try and get it ready if I run Bishojou as well.

Last time after Waifus Collide we had an influx of new rookies that have been pretty much properly assimilated into the roster now. Yet a lot of them haven't had the time to shine. I'm fully in agreement in that we should hold a rookie cup in the same way we held the hardcore tournament after Waifus Collide.

We could use a few more tag teams to spice up the tag division a bit more. So if you want to form a tag team, go right ahead. There's some interesting potential pairs already floating around.

To mess around with things, I made a 2K22 Universe run to play around with. Currently 71 waifus are in there. Jezus we have a big roster nowadays.

Anyway, those were my two cents about the event. No sims from me today, taking a little pause as I did the previous PPV.

I loved that main event. Omega never hit a signature, and never hit the No Wanged Angel. Skelly went for the SSP three times: knees up counter once, rope break once, then finally the pin. Great booking. I am so thrilled that Skelly retained. It's what I really wanted to happen, especially after all the other titles changed.
I also really like Omega's moveset. So much dirty face raking/punches to make you think it's gonna be a slog, but then that blistering power like the urunage or doctor bomb. The only move I don't like is that sitout spinebuster thing. She hit it twice, and it looked out of place both times.

I was surprised RR offered that stipulation, and I don't think Lillith ever in-character accepted. I give all props to RR for the storytelling, as Lillith isn't really much of a promo gal. I was heartbroken watching the match, and I've headcanoned it that the crowd was booing both because they didn't want to see them fight (side note: maybe change Lillith's response to cheering). I am glad Lillith won, as I only really had one way out of that. Lillith never met most of the newbies, so I think she can have some fun with them for a while before any other major storylines. Felt great finally giving her a "win" on her match record.

Queenie was more than happy for the Battle of the Farm to be the end of their PPV rivalry, which is why I sort of attempted to make her more babyface with the idea of a second match for the fans. I was caught off guard with FG's response but rolled with it. I had no faith at all that Queen was going to win the sim, and after Farmer Girl made it Crown vs Career, I didn't really want her to. Seeing FGanon's posts now though, it was probably for the best.
I had so many plans for what to do when Queen lost (including that deal she made with a certain big red dumb someone), but now all of those are moot. I can reveal them if people want to know, but otherwise I'll keep them in my back pocket for another time. I can probably rework my story for her now, but otherwise I think she also might just mill around a bit with some exhibitions before any other big stories. My original take on The Queen was the 91 OVR "legend" that lost to Punk Elf in the tournament opened and had that "big match" aura, where she wrestled rarely but for big moments. As we saw in the first FG fight, she also wasn't meant to always win.

Finally, I know there was some pushback to me having multiple waifus. Maybe it was trolling, maybe it was genuine, but either way I read it all. So the Rookie cup is essentially just a regular tournament, but the idea is that it's all people who have not had the chance to shine.

Anyone that considers themselves a rookie is more than welcome, and in fact encouraged to put their name in. As the image says, if there are too many we do some qualifying matches, or you can promo amongst yourselves. If you are a rookie but you think a tag tournament or a future hardcore tournament might be better for your character, opt out of the Rookie Cup and wait for those instead.

Holly slams the locker door shut, pausing for a moment before she makes plans to depart into the night.
Farmer Girl
She'd never met the other wrestler. But dammit if she didn't respect the shit out of her. It had been her first night in the company when she saw the Spaniard compete. Holly had been enamoured with her strong-style strikes. She'd even adapted her own moveset slightly to play off of the fists that she'd used to dispatch the Queen.
The girl had spoken the right language, fought the right way, and had seen her career ended.
Kelly Omega
Holly was hardly a fan of the upper-carders, and less-so of the rookies who glued themselves to them.
But Kelly had actually called her out as a positive example of the development of the Dojo. Had referenced her in promos. In spite of herself, the hotheaded thug had gotten giddy as a schoolgirl
It didn't matter thought. Both had lost.
The two main-eventers who she had looked to as examples, quietly taking inspiration from had been done away in the same PPV she'd won at.
A drunken smile forms on Holly's bruised lips.
Maybe she was all that.
She giggles, a joyous little laugh, filled with mirth and bloodlust.

Doing it locally isn't an option for me as I'm not using Windows and even if I was my laptop definitely wouldn't be able to handle it.

Counterfeit gives nice outfits but the faces are always fucked, AOM either produces fucked up faces or times out and Anything is totally unusable. I haven't produced a decent new render in weeks.

Counterfeit is cute, but i just don't like the weird body proportions it gives Sapphire, makes it too much of a "JRPG protag concept art" look. But it's consistently good, i'll give it that. AOM has the best lighting effects for that more realistic touch, but it can get pretty uncanny valley when it comes to faces, but boy when it hits, it knocks it out of the fucking park. Anything on the other hand is the best average for just straight up shots and even works with poses like muscle flexing, which i love. But when it comes to smut or more than one person, it just falls apart i feel. not to mention it's the most used so good luck getting anything to do anything during US hours.

For AOM I tend to notice CFG Scale: 11 gives me the better looking ones, I usually switch between 10 and like up to 12 on it. Anything higher than that ends up looking really fucked

Yeah, same here. 11-13 tends to be my sweet spot, though if i like a shot and want to try some variations, i'll take it down as low as 5 or 6. Particularly if there's a rreally good duo shot, but like, say the wrong hair color/length, eye color, etc. changing the CFG scale can change it up entirely to make it work. Like this was CFG 13, i dropped it down to 12, and it changed to the trio picture on the divine angel's wiki picture.
