Man, those fucking years were brutal. You couldn't even switch over to the new up and coming promotion because of that asswipe being front and center. It was so fucking weird because you turned on RAW and no matter who the up and comer was and how bad you wanted them to and knew they could succeeed, they hit that glass ceiling and there was the business end of a sledgehammer waiting for them there and strikes from a shovel on the way down in your burial. It happened to Jericho, it happened to Kane, it happened to RVD, it happened to Booker T, it happened to Orton, it happened to Steiner. Just one after the fucking other being fed to that long nose dick. Then you watch TNA and you KNEW who the real stars of the show were, but we were always treated to that motherfucker getting himself over and putting the belt on himself in his own promotion. It just reeked of hick fucking carny and it would just sour anyone on the product and when he was winning every time with shenanigans to go along with all the other nonsense that show had. If the glass ceiling in WWE met you the sledgehammer once you got through, the guitar was waiting for you in TNA.
Thank GOD SmackDown! was the utter fucking elder god tier tits during that era. The only show that wasn't even fucking live that didn't have those goons there to sour the place up.
