I know its funny to shit on Phil, but I guarantee that he would not consider a night one a real mainevent. He reeeee'd at HHH and Vince because they told him he was in a wrestlemania mainevent because he was wrestling Undertaker in a marquee match and he got super autistic and said a mainevent has to be THE last match. I guarantee that even if it was Phil himself closing night one he wouldn't be happy with it. Everyone knows its not a true mainevent.

I've yet to hear a compelling argument as to why night one should be considered a Wrestlemania mainevent. It is on a technicality at best. The mainevent is the marquee final match of the show. Just because Wrestlemania is now split into two days, that doesn't mean its two shows. On dvds and streams, those matches are always going to be in the middle of the card. So basically, you're a wrestlemania midcarder.

Some of you guys are being way too autistic with these reaches. Yeah if you want to get so technical about it the main event of night 2 is the true main event but with the way they do these shows now main eventing night 1 is absolutely nothing to be ashamed about at all in fact its beyond an amazing achievement in wrestling. Every company out there would kill to have a night 1 of mania type of show and you all know it. I see night 1 main event as absolutely credible main events.

Once he finally loses the title don't be surprised if they make men one Mania main event night 1 while women main event night 2. If the belts split again you can easily have them switch around between years to. I remember during the /asp/ days many of you guys shitting on the WHC as if it always second rate championship and meanwhile that title closed mania at least a few times. This isnt any old company were talking about here. This is the company that turned wrestling from a circus sideshow into Professional Wrestling.
