Give me a good argument why wrestling doesn't need to or have an off season. Having an off season would solve alot of malaise of the current wrestling landscape. An all year round product only dilutes the quality because the wrestlers doesn't get time off to recharge and the shows just get repetitive. Having a 3 month break would actually make the viewers have an itch and yearn for it as well when it starts back again. There's a reason why sports all have off season. If all sports also ran for a year long people would get bored because the sheer quantity of games means nothing in the long run until around playoff time comes around. It also gives creative more creative freedom to at least brainstorm new shit and lay out long term plans instead of the same old wrestling storyline we've seen for the past 30 years. And no dont give me the bullshit about MUH TV RIGHTS. TV execs have shown themselves to be idiots who would pay any amount for first run live content and i seriously doubt it would affect tv rights negotiation that much when it doesn't affect it for sports
