Yeah I think they might do pretty well this week with a Tony announcement. Also we shitpost a lot about Dax being annoying but AEW fans actually seem to care about FTR (big merch sellers) and will probably be tuning in to see the career vs title match

The issue isnt really AEW its the outside perspective of what wresting is that matters. Casuals picked up WWE after word of how good the Attitude era was and how much fans had clicked with the NWO. Its why they had their best ratings in 99 when the AE was winding down Austins neck was sawdust and Hunter was forcing the show around himself/

Right now the image of wrestling is that it was something people liked a long time ago when it was better. People dont check out AEW because all they have ever heard was WWE is bad and anyone that decides to put time into watching gets dissapointed and quits after a month or two
