This was a huge misfire and I don't know if it's Cody's 1980's mark shit or Hunter's that decided to make the build last this long. You don't pay all that money for someone and then cool them off for nothing. You also risk injuries (which already happened) and the crowd turning on him (Which happened in AEW). Now that investment goes down the drain and you blew a potential star that fans actually gave a fuck about.
