no console war question: when was the last time WWE told a “guy loses, has to find his confidence again” story properly? the last time i remember them trying was cena losing to rock in 2012, being tempted to “embrace the hate” by kane, then quickly changing course to have cena beat a returning lesnar, the entire nexus, and ultimately the rock in 2013.
