Depends how much of the back catalogue you wanna watch, some of the covid era stuff at daily's place was pretty good, if you just wanna get caught up on what's current just start from revolution a few weeks ago and go from there

AEW has no lore. Storylines typically end after 2 or 3 weeks and then get memoyhole'd.

Nah, there's some long term stuff like the hangman and Kenny stuff but at the moment it's been mostly new storylines, alot got wrapped up or started around revolution

This, Revolution was like a big reset after 2022 got buttfucked by a million different things. Also minor note perhaps, but HoB were calling The Elite a cancer within AEW before they took the trios belts off them, now BCC has Danielson saying Kenny is everything wrong with wrestling, so there's potentially something brewing there.

The Hangman/Kenny story ended, what, 2 years ago? Tony made a reference to it and then it was forgotten again as Kenny abruptly fucked off to do singles matches against literally whos. That isn't long term storytelling. That's just poking a long dead story's corpse with a stick.

Lol you're a retard, Kenny's whole singles run was a lead up to him having a big match against hangman and dropping the title to him, then he took a break to get surgery, and now Kenny and hangman are interacting again picking up where the storyline left off

The story is even telling us exactly that, Kenny started his singles run by picking up an obligation he had before he had to get surgery. I wouldn't be surprised if Kenny having the obligation to defend the IWGP US Championship is a tool Callis uses to try and drive a wedge in.

The best point to jump in to any wrestling company is at a PPV. WWE, AEW, Impact, always just start with the most recent PPV. They serve as bookmarks, either ending stories or showing a major chapter in them, and usually giving video recaps of everything important. Then the next night will see fresh storylines start.

No it isn't, Kenny was looking to go with the Bucks and Hangman but Callis got in the way and told him to focus on his singles matches, then tried to trick Kenny into thinking Hangman hit him but because it was such a bad attempt he had to brush it off and go play nice. The story is Callis trying to keep Kenny away from the Bucks and Hangman, using these singles matches as a justification.
