Having Drew lose to Roman is fine on its own
Having Sami lose to Roman is fine on its own
Having Cody lose to Roman is fine on its own
But you put all of these together and WWE has dropped the ball. They wanted to ruin the feel good moment so many times just for the sake of a swerve that they completely killed the title and any feud they're going to hitch onto it now.
It's okay to deny people their feel good moment and have Roman not drop it once or twice but they've now done it so many times that who gives a fucking shit anymore? No one wants to get behind anyone anymore because they'll either lose to Roman yet again or they win but they'll never be as hot as Cody and Sami because people don't give a shit anymore.
I'm not even a Roman hater, I think he's a credible champion and he's created an aura around the belt where money in the bank shitters like Theory are too afraid to cash in because they know they'll fail, which was a pretty kino dynamic but he's been too protected and the correct thing would have been to drop the belt at Mania, just because the storyline has been going on for so long and no other story is going to captivate the people as much as the bloodline stuff had up until Mania.
It's over boys, the belt means nothing and WWE would rather swerve people than do the right thing to keep their momentum going.
