he doesn't do anything different in any of them, it's the exact same performance. he does the exact same handful of moves only instead of a 5 minute match like goldberg's, it's stretched out to half an hour plus a 10 minute entrance

Goldberg was explosive. He had snap. His matches were exciting because everything he did looked powerful and his body language sold him as unstoppable. He also had a pretty varied arsenal of moves from authentic looking shoot style holds to MMA striking to regular powerhouse stuff. All of this was fresh at the time too.

Roman meanwhile is just a boring heel who cheats to win that has been at the top of everything forever. There's no feuds left at all. If the entire audience is booing you out of the building as a babyface you can't just switch heel and act like you are suddenly doing a good job.

Goldberg's matches were like 30 seconds or a couple minutes max every week. He wasn't squashing Hulk Hogan at the main event of Starrcade every year. I thought Vince was a retard for pushing John Cena as the unbeatable company man, but I don't know what the fuck he's high on to push Roman even harder. Its like watching a real life gladiator going in there and decimating shitters in seconds every monday night. He did it with such intensity you just had to be impressed. If you're going to be a monster heel squashing everyone like they're nothing you actually have to look like it. You need the physique, the charisma, and in ring capability. Roman has none of that. He's flabby, talks like a fag, and can barely manage to do his own simple ass finishers correctly.
