I was not happy with what I saw on Raw last night, and I was definitely not happy with what I heard was happening behind the scenes. I'm going to lay out reasons that I still have hope and I'm not going to give up just yet.
>This might be a one off. Maybe Vince was only micromanaging this episode because he was already in town for Mania. Maybe he won't be traveling and ripping up scripts every week. He's already said he will be a little involved with creative, but not in the weeds. He was obviously in the weeds last night, but maybe this won't be typical
>Maybe Endeavor will see the overwhelmingly negative response to last night's show, and they won't appreciate that Vince got "Worst Raw" trending on Twitter the day that the business deal is announced. Maybe they'll put pressure on Vince to step aside and let Paul run the show his way.
>Maybe Vince will just die. He's old.
>There have been really bad episodes of Raw under the HHH reign. Maybe this was just a fluke.
>I also wasn't sure about Cody losing at Mania, it felt like the right time to me, but I can see this story with Brock being good. I think perhaps Paul orchestrated this attack, and putting Cody through this will make us hate the Bloodline more, and make it better when Cody finally does win. It did feel like the time for me, but I think this way will be fine too at the end of the day.
>At least NXT is great and Vince probably doesn't care enough about it right now to ruin it.
I know that some people will laugh at this post, and that's fine. I've just really loved WWE lately and I hate to think of it being wrecked by one man's ego. I was depressed last night and this morning. And this is the cope I've come up with. Thanks.
