The lack of build and interaction was by design. Hell, their storylines weren't even connected. If you couldn't see The Codester losing a mile away, idk what's wrong with you.

Now they have a year to build an actual feud for Cody vs Roman, Reigns gets his 1000+ day reign, and they can disassemble The Bloodline so there's no more run ins for Cody/Reigns II

I knew Roman was going to win, in kayfabe it didn't make sense for Cody to win, why he would defeat Roman who has been a champions for 3 years, who's undefeated and has mainevented wrestlemania 7 times. Cody was just returning from injury and never had this experience

I don't. Hogan is undoubtedly an all time great and incredibly over. Cena struggled too but he was basically all they had and still did well enough. Roman took years at the top level to even get the pieces together. Even now he is lacking.
