The idea that babyfaces must face some sort of adversity or major setback prior to winning the prize is such nonsense.

People like wrestlers who kick ass and win. It's not complicated.

Could you imagine if Batista had lost to Hunter at Mania because he "needed a struggle?" Or if Goldberg had lost to Hollywood Hogan in Atlanta because he was "too strong?"

Those would be considered all time blunders. And I truly don't believe history will be kind to Cody's loss.

He may or may not remain hot, and he might even eventually win the title, but I don't believe they'll ever get that moment back.
