You want to know the exact moment it failed, it wasn't when Cody lost, it was when Cody came out like a geek and shared the ring with the guy who cheated him out of a dream, then begged for a rematch. It's like, who the fuck is going to take this geek seriously? That's what pisses me off the most about the product today. A decent babyface lands on their lap and they still fuck the whole thing up.
The most over guy they ever had in Austin, would never come out and smile about some shit like that. When he lost the title he beat the shit out of Vince because Vince fucked him over. I remember when Rock lost the belt, he beat the fuck out of every single person in the McMahon-Helmsley faction and didn't do his usual schtick. He got screwed and was pissed!
