IIRC by this point it was like a blood feud that was building and building and this was just...a normal match. With DQs and lock-ups and stuff, it was just a bad fit. HHH as a babyface was just godawful in general too and people liked Randy better.

Hunter ws an overpushed shitter as the babyface everyone still remembered hating in a match against a glorified mid-carder only treated like a big deal because he was Hunters buddy and had the job of being Cenas Skeletor. They went on to have a regular match they had ever house show to make sure they took it easy headlocking each other a half an hour. What did you expect?
