Then his lack of contrition forced Tony to make a choice and he picked the Bucks/Omega. After awhile, it starts to sink in. This is it. This was he last chance to end his career on his own terms and he sunk it due to ego and pride. Now he gets to go out with a tarnished legacy, the guy who walked out of one company, showed up at a new one, one that could benefit from his star power, only for that company to find him so fucking toxic they threw him out instead.
I don't blame Punk for trying to backpeddle. Every decision he made since this petty feud with the bucks started was a stupid one. He single handedly killed his own legacy. That has to be soul crushing.
