You have to realize that right now New Japan is about to get really stacked with Japs. And Okada still has like 3 more years as the Ace in the tank, too.

This is the only correct option. NJPW got over when the marquee feuds were between Japanese talent with one main event Gaijin at a time (AJ Styles) - Omega made the top gaijin spot embarrasing and brought a parasocial fanbase that pumped and dumped NJPW because he made it about him and not the company or his peers (not referring to the bullet club here)
