>>9683183One of the greatest of all time, at least from a technical standpoint. He's up there with Benoit and Angle, and one could argue he'd be the best of the three on a good day. Overall, he's most certainly top 20, if not top 10 (in my opinion), and will always be one of my personal all time favorites. One of the things I really liked about Eddie is that he almost always made his opponent (s) look good, regardless of who they were, because he was simply that talented. Sure, he wasn't a big draw, but there's not one match that I can remember him being in that was "bad" in any way. And like the one anon said, he became an inspiration to many folks, even while he was still alive.
Eddie will unquestionably go down as one of the all-time greats, and will not be forgotten at any point in the near future. His legacy still lives on 18 years after his passing, and I'm certain 18 more will easily pass with his name still embedded in the conscious mind of the wrestling world.
