>>9685274It's difficult to describe why this is so fucking good. It's like most wrestling we get these days is a WWE video game. Wrestlers perform a move from a specific position in a specific way, it looks like a scripted animation, then they do another move, with little to no thought given to the logical flow from one maneuver to the next. Whereas AJ here simply perform an evasive maneuver which is logical and consistent with the threat but which doesn't just come from a curated bag of tricks. It's like most wrestlers today would think "what move can I do here?" while AJ thinks "what can I do here?" and I wish more people wrestled like that. It's why I love seeing actual grappling in matches since it's some of the only time you get to see wrestlers actually trying to outmaneuver one another instead of just doing moves.

Likewise Reigns catches him, has him in powerbomb position, and decides to go for the table because the opportunity is there, not because he set it up.
