Notes
>Things sort of went back to normal this month after Mutoh's retirement, with Stardom going back to second place and Dragon Gate getting the third spot. A curious thing is that this was the first month since January 2021 that Stardom sold fewer tickets than the same month a year ago. They went up against two back to back shows at Sumo Hall last year so it was always going to be a tough number to beat, but there goes a really impressive streak.
>The New Japan Cup doesn't seem to have done great this year despite the final did better numbers than last year. Next month will be a good test to see if New Japan will keep going upwards since Sakura Genesis will be their first big time event since WK.
>DDT had a particularly bad month compared to the same month last year while TJPW has been stable this year.
>AJPW seems to be getting some momentum this year. The past three months have all been well above their sales last year so 2023 promises to be very good for them. They're still not close to the same level as in 2019, but they seem to be on their way to get there.
