>>9705123AEW is a massive mixed bag, usually more bad than good. It's been evident for a while that Tony has no idea how to book and present people, and there are so many problems that its hard to know where to start. A few examples to give an indication of the quality of the booking:
>Powerhouse Hobbs is a great monster heel, still green but he can work a reasonably long match. Tony finally puts a midcard title on him in a match against another hoss, but he only wins the match with interference (no DQ match) from QT Marshall, a comedy jobber, and for the last month since winning the title Hobbs' presence on Dynamite has mostly been in QTV, QT Marshall's bad parody of TMZ where they make fun of their newsroom.>Guys who look and wrestle less impressively than most Young Lions after a year of training like Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and Dante Martin are treated as main eventers; Daniel Garcia has been in more Dynamite main events than anyone else in the last year. >Wardlow was an unbelievably hot babyface hoss, basically built as their Goldberg down to the chants and the entrance, and he had a great feud with MJF where MJF took ten powerbombs and was wheeled out, he was hot enough that they could have had him challenge for the title (not that they should have), and literally next week they have him feud with a comedy lawyer representing the security guards he's been attacking over the last few months. Tony puts him in absolute nonsense feuds and within a few weeks he's just another wrestler and all the momentum is squandered. There's so much bullshit, bad writing, guys who can barely wrestle being elevated while dimes guys don't get on tv, nonsense booking, its really frustrating because I still begrudgingly watch the show and I want it to succeed. Tony has enough good people on the roster that if he just wasn't retarded he could easily have an absolutely kino wrestling show, the best in North America since Ruthless Agression, but alas, he's a retarded mark.
