The way I sort of look at shit is by decade. And if you think about it, the 70s/80s/90s/2000s all kind of had their own feel right? But from the 2010s until now it's like everything is the same sort of bland bullshit. All the shows just feel like they run together, there isn't much worth remembering anymore. It's all flippy garbage from guys who cant cut a promo and look like they work at Shop n' Save

Roman is almost 38. He will most likely be in the WWE when he's 40. Cena, is 45.
The Rock left in 04, but was already "part time" in 02. There was absolutely no time for The Rock in the WWE, he wanted to leave the second he became popular lol.
Either these guys just get up and retire, or at least do something else. Randy is 43 and his back is fucked, and he most likely was gonna stay for a long time lol.

Have you ever seen Roman in the last 10 years? He only SOMEWHAT learned how to cut a promo at the tender age of 35-36. If anything he's gonna be a B-lister at most and his look is not unique at all when it comes to hollywood.
This man was a charisma vacuum for most of his life and Vince knows this so pushing Roman was a safe bet that he definitely won't run to Hollywood in a year or two before(if) he actually improves

The Rock is the only guy to ever make it in Hollywood. Even Hogan couldn't cut it. Austin's movies were horrible. The only time other guys can make it work is bit parts like Hogan in Rocky III or those cameos on the Longest Yard.

Rock's start in hollywood was shaky too. Nobody remembers all his early shitty movies nowadays because he caught a lucky break with the fast franchise where he could hide being a one dimensional meathead character and that's all he ever does even till today. Rock got very lucky too

He’s already on a relaxed schedule, him improvement in delivery is likely due to acting lessons, he’s had a number of cosmetic procedures, he’s picked up more roles every year for the last five years. WWE by shifting to recruiting college athletes and legacies instead of indy mark geeks has already gone 95% of the way to eliminating the problem with modern wrestling, it's just going to be on like a 5 year delay before it starts coming to fruition.

Probably the former considering the 90s wrestlers were mostly college athletes who didn't go pro. SCSA, Rock, and Goldberg were all college athletes that became gigadimes in the 90s. Off the top of my head, Nash, Undertaker and Kane were college athletes as well, and Randy Savage played pro baseball. I'm sure there were plenty of others as well.

College Athletes already have Chad energy because they've been kings if campus their whole lives. It's a short step from that to Charisma.

Obviously they won't all work out which is why WWE recruits like 30 kids per year. If like 2 per class work out you'll have a deep roster. If even 1% of them become megastars you could have a generational Cena-level talent every 10 years.

Neither options. I have yet to see someone from College/Pro Athletics to PC to NXT to Main Roster pipeline that’s broke out as a star. WWE thinks they can make homegrown stars from scratch. It’s not happening. Disney has minor success in this department and they’re 20X bigger than WWE.
