>>9721220Chase has a pretty good story all things told.
Came from a rundown shithole in Bumfuck, North Carolina. Teamed with his brother but their run in ROH fizzled out quickly. Bummed around the indies for most of the next decade and has to make it as a singles guy after his brother retired. Got lucky and got signed to NXT after EVOLVE died mostly to get used as a job guy. The teacher gimmick was pretty entertaining though and he started to get over which led to his turning face and Chase U becoming a real stable but still mostly as job guys but they keep getting over and keep getting moved up the card.
Chase will never be a star but Chase U is a solidly midcard/lower-midcard act which is a nice way to ride out your career if you're never destined for the upper card. Especially if you can help make or be a launching pad for younger wrestlers and hell, the whole Chase U gimmick even lends itself to wrestlers moving on and new ones being cycled in.
