But saying he had bad matches is delusional. His New Japan Cup run in 2021 was great (And he put David Finlay over big there!), his NEVER run was great, his win against Okada was great and the majority of his G1 run was great too. His title run was hampered because the two defenses before Okada were a complete waste of him, but that's hardly his fault.
