I used to post on here a lot back before it was /pw/, but I've kind of moved on from wrestling. Anyway, this tweet came to my attention, and I'm just here to say that Meltzer is 100% factually incorrect. I have worked directly with the team at Wembley numerous times and know the pricing and its nowhere near this amount. In fact, it's more than double this and that's before you do currency conversion.
The only reason I mention it is because Meltzer states this as a fact and I can only presume he is attempting to help the wrestling industry by making it seem more profitable than it is.
I don't have a reddit account and my Twitter is linked to my real identity so I didn't know where to post this. But he is either TERRIBLY misinformed or he is making the number up. You can't get the O2 Arena for that price on August Bank Holiday weekend, let alone the stadium which is significantly more costly. I don't know why he's lying, but he's lying.
