He's rarely done the Demon gimmick in the past couple of years on the main roster. It's retarded looking and doesn't remotely coexist with how he portrays himself 99% of the time. Why do they continue to let him do it? He hasn't won with it in a very long time. It means nothing more than just a retarded looking paint job. It should have stopped being a thing after what they did in the Roman match.

That's not really true. The Roman match was cheesy as all fuck but the whole point was to protect the demon paint to the point of implying that even Roman was getting murked if not for a total fluke, and that was only like loss #2 ever

The whole point of an alter ego is that it's not part of his normal persona and just comes out for the highest intensity matches
