Fine, they wanna milk "the chase" for all its worth and make him "earn" it. But they did it in the most retarded way possible by having Solo just come back from being ejected and then everyone just has to conveniently ignore it and act like Roman did it by himself. It's beyond dumb and one of the biggest holes in this whole thing. And Brock just brutalizing Cody for no real reason after agreeing to team up makes him look like a goober.
I was like 95% sure they would have done it as I figured there's no way they'd be dumb enough to pass on three popular babyfaces when they were hot and unfortunately, I lost that bet.
Getting Roman to 1000 days and pretending like he's dominant and milking the chase for another 6 months to a year was just too tempting I guess.
Oh well, it is what it is. If Cody cools down ans someone else comes along. Well...we'll know who to blame.
