It got good reviews, for what that's worth. But it's not a good game, IMO. Looks great, but doesn't go all-in as a simulation, or all-in as an arcade style presentation. It's in this weird middle ground where sometimes it clicks but for the most part it's only fun to run a Royal Rumble or a War Games with friends every once in a while.

I don't care about WWE2k23, rather I was explaining why we still see Fight Forever threads: that game is vaporware.

As a kid, I used to think working on video games would be cool. Then I heard all the stories of staff being overworked, expected to put in 10-12 hours a day, crunch times, laid off at a whim, studios closing down, etc. I’m forever glad I didn’t “follow my dreams”.
