Now, they might not watch MODERN wrestling, but the rate of which you'll find "Yeah. I watched it back in the day with The Rock and Triple H and all them." is greater than those who go "Never watched it".

Hell, I was at a March Madness party with some co-workers and an AEW Advert featuring Jericho came on screen. To my surprise, the common thought in that room was that they knew who he was and were shocked "he still wrestled because he looks old as shit".

This, so much this. As an older zoomer, most people just mention how they loved the late 2000s - early 10s growing up. I've heard it come up in random conversations a lot more recently. Not really because people are watching again, more so because of all the mainstream coverage it's been getting due to Vince and the business side of things, but the general attitude towards it is positive.

It's one of those things where nobody wants to admit that they watched when they were younger but if you give them the green light they will actually share who their guys were growing up etc. Many times I've brought up that I was I wrestling fan to normies and it was a positive experience where I could tell them backstage stories about some of their OG childhood favorites. Unironically learn social skills OP, it's easy.
