I didn't necessarily mean a G1. I meant specifically a tournament. I really enjoyed the Rookie Cup for what it was, but I think the quarter finals/semi finals of matches between friends, or matches that might not otherwise have a reason to happen would be really exciting.

Three minutes later, LSSA is watching as her opponent is carried away on a stretcher.
She grabs a mic. "Everyone here will fall, just like on the independents."
She says these words in Spanish. But then to the surprise of the crowd she repeats them in English, spoken in a perfect British accent.
"And then, after every challenger this place has to offer has been made to scream my name, I will come to the WWA so I can be with you in this realm, hermana. Together. The way we were meant to be."

My major issue with pushing for randomisation/lottery drawings is that we have some ~70 people in the fed right now, and there has to be some limit on who is available for selection. The issues arise when too many people want to be part of it, as was frustratingly the case with the Rookie Cup.

The ease at which she gets in is still a testament to the security at this business.

She looks around and all she sees is vermin.
Vermin writhing in the agony of loneliness.
How desperate they are for the carnal desires.
They gather here in mass, indulging in the spirits.
The indulgence is what lets them cope with the knowledge they will return.
They will be seeking the same high again.
This is what they looked forward to at the end of a long day.

It speaks from inside her.
>She isn't here, but then... you knew that.
Nyx makes her way through the crowd, towards the bar.
There is a group before it in what seems to be some type of chaotic queue, looking for another drink.
She creates a path between them with her new powers. She begins walking forward with a slow pace.
All of the crowd which were shoved by an unknown force all enter a state of quiet and watch her pass.
The nearby club goers who saw the unnatural occurrence also begin to hush until the entire establishment is silent and looking in her direction.

Stools began to tip over to create a staircase as she starts to make her way to the top of the bar.
She turns to the crowd and gazes over them with contempt, taking in the silence at the club. The music had come to a stop, all eyes were glued to her.
Nyx puts her arms above her head and her cloak falls open, revealing her outfit underneath.
Many of the crowd start cheering, thinking they were going to get a show
They were definitely about to get a show.

Black dust tendrils emerge from her under her cloak and raise to the ceiling.
The light bulbs begin popping slowly, ramping up in an instant before all of them had been destroyed.
Shards of glass drops down from the ceiling as the club goers cover their heads.
The monitors go off as the nightclub doors all slam shut and lock.
A chaos takes hold as everyone starts to rush for the door, people getting squashed in the process.

I'll be honest with you Frog, I still don't quite understand why Violet was Nyx. I was keen for Nyx to be a newcomer, or even (as someone else suggested) a jobber like Nika who gets a power increase. Violet already had such a fleshed out character, and this felt unearned. I'm ready to be proven wrong through more backstory etc., but so far it's a miss.

There is a weird thing around here I've noticed where a match is "set" for the future, and it makes nobody involved want to have any other matches. In my opinion, that is not the best way to go about things. It should be have a match, and as a result of that match go for the title, or look for revenge, or go on a training arc, etc.

She stared at the floor as the music in The Dojo changed.

The last group were just now putting phones away, with a single word that Nyx could hear "Angels"

There was a swelling.
All of the air was sucked out of the room as it seemed to swirl in a spiral towards Nyx.
A darkness filled the entire gym as a hum began to fill the quiet.
In an instant all was right in The Dojo, something it hadn't seen in a long time.
The corruption had been lifted, though it circled around the woman standing in the center of the facilities.

The glass around them shatters inward.
The weights are all lifted and begin spinning in a vortex.

Nyx steps over the broken bodies as she makes her way back outside.
The sunlight hits her face as she feels alive.

Holly lays motionless in the ring. Apparently being hit by like a dozen powerbombs will do that to a person. She cannot muster the strength to fight to her feet as Kade approaches. The wrestler is helpless, unable to fight back as she is hit by the curb stomp, her brain rattling in her skull as bone and flesh reverberate against metal and leather. For a moment, she takes the lifeless walk, consciousness leaving her body.

Holly lays prone and still in the ring for a long few moments, before eventually, she is helped to her feet and she is all but carried out of the ring. Her eyes dazed and unable to focus.
