>>9767927more like these Dads are LIMES incarnate. Yes you may have seen me use this joke before but I firmly believe that I was the first one to start posting Gallus = Dimes Incarnate. To further extrapolate, the evolution to "these Dads are Limes incarnate" was based on me using "lads" as an equivalent for the regularly used "gals" as a fun, infromal slang way of referring to these men as a group. With all that in place, it was merely a simple spoonerism, swapping the 'd' from 'dimes' with the 'l' from 'lads' to give the finished sentence. This also works on another level, because they look like dads (and I assume both are) plus they wear green and are always bathed in deeply green lighting during their entrances. Limes are green.
