Billionaire Ted couldn’t beat Vince. Neither could Tony and his Dad. Or Dixie Carter. Vince himself can’t create a megastar like Stone Cold or The Rock today. Lots of people have thrown money at the wrestling business, some fairly successful businessmen. So why can’t anyone figure out how to draw a dime? Wrestling is a business, in theory. a good businessman should be able to operate it like a business, so why does everyone fail to create something main mainstream cultural appeal?
