Even Gunther has to do it, watch his matches in his OTT days with flippy shitters like Ospreay, Devlin or Zack sabre jr. Puroresu is at its best when it simulates action that is extremely rare or unexpected in a shoot combat sport, but without ever hurting the opponent. Gunther is the epitome of this.
Tbf WWE has the exact same problems as AEW and indie promotions when it comes to flippy guys. It's just that their cameramen are much better at covering for them. Watch a WWE match from a fan cam and you see all the same problems.
