Has AEW done anything original successfully? Their "original" projects so far have been 95% flops (Adam Page, MJF). The Acclaimed has arguably been their only original success, and even that relies on being John Cena knock-offs. Darby Allin has mainly rehashed Sting's WCW storylines but with a skateboard. Outcasts are just WWE rejects in storyline, MJF wants to go to WWE, CM Punk just shit on WWE, Jericho is literally sports-entertainment le WWE sucks meme. Moxley is pretty original actually, but a one-trick pony. Ricky Starks has potential. 4 years in and AEW hasn't had a single significant storyline that didn't rely on storytelling that happened in a different company. I get the counter-argument, they acknowledge other companies, but that's a total copout since they haven't crafted a single original narrative.
TL;DR - AEW is member-berries: The Promotion
