He was solid at the end of his career, but never had a compelling aura. He could manage to be a good wholesome babyface and a good villain, but he didn't mystify and hypnotize like the true top tier Charisma guys, unless given a really good Heel program to gnaw on.
>Character/Promo: 8/10
His innate Charisma might be been weaker then his top level peers, but as mentioned above, he had solid character work and even if you aren't innately gifted at promos, you can learn. It is a skill that can be taught and Eddie worked his ass off.
>Look: 6/10
This is what really let him down. On the gas, he looked great, even being relatively short. He was ridiculously jacked for a guy his size. Other then that though, he was just kinda normal looking. He was a fairly good looking, mullet sporting mexican guy. Not bad, not great.
Does that get him into top 10? I don't know. I will say he was the right guy, at the right place, at the right time to be a massive star. Sometimes that context is all that matters.
