>>9827298Not me, but other people. Say you wanted to start a new property covering wrestling, a podcast, youtube show, site whatever. Jim's ability to afford a high dollar former music industry guy with connections in the form of Brian Last allows him to escape responsibility for things that you would not be able to escape responsibility for. Seems like nothing until you realize that Last is literally breaking the law by submitting those false copyright claims to cover up the things Jim has said in the past, copyright claims that always go through because of who Brian knows, and via this corruption he's able to maintain lucrative mainstream advertisers because no one reads wrestling news sites.
I used to like the podcast, but it's just too much bullshit and trying to pick kayfabe fights with people lately, and I think he's actually become detrimental. His "reply" to Meltzer featured him listening to a clip of Meltzer saying Adam Page should have been punished and purposefully misinterpreting it as the opposite so he could continue some weird journalist feud. I only tuned into hear if there was any new news on Punk, and he just talks about Meltzer for an hour. He will go to any length to not talk about wrestling, and a show like that being the top wrestling podcast is not a good sign for the industry.
>>9827331I largely agree with him, but if the rest of us have to keep our mouths shut to make money, so should he.
