they're calling up chase u at the draft, they are by far the biggest merch seller in NXT and they think the act will translate well to the main roster and especially house shows

Do it too late and only the same hundred people in Florida know their story, shit like Emma and Bayley were hard to sell because they already had their moments and need them to sell their characters. The turn of the millennium approach of giving nearly everyone a story and time would benefit these types more, but I think some feel it's ultimately a waste of effort (it's not)

Gimmick doesn't translate to main roster. It's too vignette/ video package heavy & given HHH is a big we tell our stories in the ring type the Gimmick gets no traction.

They've actually hit the sweet spot for Andre Chase to be the funnel to repackage all their failed international talent. I.e Tyler Bate, Duke Hudson, Sarray.

I see Oro Mensa, Nathan Frazer, Noam Dar, Quincy Elliot, Dante Chen all being Chase U gimmicked because being NXT UK wrestler isn't a character.

They seem to be doing something with Frazer and for whatever fucking reason they're using Dar and that trophy even though Dar sucks. Chen would be pretty good for Chase U though.
