I don't know how people hate TK. Of all the billionaires children who wanted to dabble in the wrestling industry, having a legitimate fan and member of the IWC is about the best case scenario.

I’m thinking it might’ve turned out better if he wasn’t such an IWC smark boy. The reality is, no one but someone like Tony would’ve ever stepped up to seriously try to compete with WWE. A billionaires autistic smark son is the only way we were ever going to get a new major US promotion and it happened. It’s based for that alone regardless of my opinion on the actual content.

I don't hate Tony but I do think he's in over his head and doesn't know how to delegate tasks and properly have a team of legends who can help him book properly. He also is a dumb mark who treats the wrestlers as his friends instead of as just employees and he's easy to milk due to that.

Self Marks shouldn't be in charge of a wrestling company and most people have to pay their dues and have respect drilled into them before they are ready to be put in any real position of power.

If I was ever a majority owner of a wrestling company, first thing I would do is hire as many trustworthy, knowledgeable people I could, both in general business/entertainment and Wrestling, and tell them 'Run my shit, make me money'. Because I have the self awareness to understand that I do not know how to run a wrestling promotion.

Tony WAS doing that for awhile, he had people he could trust that knew their shit helping him run things. At some point, he freaked and took full Vince McMahon-esq control of the promotion and it's suffered ever since. The man got fucking William Regal and he made him talent and didn't let him do shit backstage. He has JR on commentary and he's having him do fuck all as a scout or talent manager, which he did for years at WWE. I don't hate Tony. I just recognize that his ego is massively out of control.

He should quit booking and hire someone like the guy who booked LU. Looking at AEW briefly, it seems faggy looking small guys (maybe ok for a junior belt) like jungle kid, Sammy, are given lots of time. Meaningless segments. All this while they have goat level wrestlers doing nothing. Looking at the Jay White debut, the storytelling is stupid too. Why have him attack a midcarder? Who seems ok, but then again ruined by doing a faggy dance step at the start of his entrance .

I do believe Jay will be pushed in time. Though can't say for sure, maybe he committed career suicide looking at Juice

The roster is too bloated and there's too many nonsense factions. A Bullet Club branch in AEW should be a big deal but it'll be lost in the mix like Los Ingobernables and the zillion other factions AEW has.

He is a good promoter, but the shittiest booker in the business. The only reason why AEW isn't dead yet is because the boys are working their asses of trying to make whatever TK is booking, at the very least, watchable.

He should be in charge of only the big picture and his dream matches, and let a competent booker and writers to set up the beats and stories.
