Having DDP and Goldberg as WCW's Rock vs Austin was the only thing that would have saved them. Guys like Sting, Bret Hart didn't need a world title to draw money, and Guerrero, Mysterio, Jericho, Benoit, Raven etc needed the United States Title back then and a win over the upper-midcard guys, they didn't need Goldberg's streak
