Doubt. Hogan had a lull period during the new gen era, so Austin's second boom would've been in the pg era. Austin wrestling regularly in the pg era would've been a disaster

Austin was only a top guy from '96 to '04

Hogan was a draw from '83 to '03, then he even appeared in TNA and helped carry them from '10 to '13.
