So, word is, if Riddle can get over with our reintroducing him as a serious character, Rollins will be given the same treatment after Summer Slam. He would be injured at SS. Leave for 9 months, then be repackaged as a shield like version of Rollins, slated for a return at WM40. As of right now, he's right where he's supposed to be.
