>>9843138It was honestly fairly good. By that time it felt like they had stopped the bleeding of the previous years and built up some real star power. Cena was doing his thing but wasn't burying the entire roster. Phil was at his peak. Ryback was kino. Johnny Ace was kino. Maddox was fun and seemed like he might go somewhere. Del Rio with his cars and Ricardo was based. And contrary to smarks who instinctively hate every strongly booked face, Sheamus was pretty entertaining and was great in the roll of "Backup Cena."
It was a good year. Some things could've been done better, but it was catharsis for the PG-era. Better than the following years where only Roman was allowed to do everything and the roster was filled with NXT-shitters who all had the same edgy look and Phil-ripoff gimmick.
