ITT we post forgotten facts/tidbits/storylines/gimmicks/etc that modern wrestling fans have probably forgotten.

The Alpha Male Monty Brown was one of the first TNA homegrown guys to jump ship to WWE. He debuted in WWECW as the unfortunately named Marquis Cor Von. After about a week or two they quickly retconned his name to Marcus Cor Von.

ICP’s Juggalo Championship Wrestling is probably technically the second longest running currently active wrestling promotion in the USA. It held its first shows in 1999, but technically didn’t run full time until 2010.

Sylvester Terkay was one of the very few MMA fighters to transition to professional wrestling in the 2000s and as a result was hyped up to be a potential star upon his signing with WWE. Unfortunately, he turned out to be the drizzling shits, and after a couple of WWECW matches, he got shitcanned. He later went on to be a part of one of the worst matches in japanese wrestling history with Luke Gallows under Inoki's IGF promotion in 2011, where the latter shoot ran down the ramp in the middle of the match to put a premature end to this abomination and ended up slapping the shit out of them while loudly yelling "BULLSHIT".

As an early TNA watcher and attendee, the story of Monty Brown is the story of why TNA was always going to be a flop.
