AEW isn't mega popular in the UK but iirc they do well over there because they air on ITV whereas WWE airs on a paid specialty channel

WCW Worldwide was on and off Channel 5 for a while and then Nitro was on a graveyard slot on Cartoon Network of all places. Can't even remember if you could watch the PPVs live.

Impact was on Challenge which was a well known gameshow channel on freeview and actually got promoted well.

Nah it was pretty popular, had Nitro on TNT against Raw (which is funny in retrospect as there was like a four day delay for both) and Worldwide was on Channel 5 in the mornings for a while too. WWF was the big dog since the early 90s but it was solidly big.

Goldberg simply doesn't want to put the work in. He was diet Ultimate Warrior and knows how to coast off of the bare minimum.

His match with Undertaker KWABbed so hard that WWE put Goldberg in an apology match with Ziggler so Ziggler could make him look like Superman again. Sting isn't going to sell like death all because Goldberg can't wrestle after 20 years around the business.
