Jobbers do need to be distinct. One a Brian Cage type, one a Ricochet type, one a Heath Slater type, and so on. They need to be distinct enough to make the encounter/match worthwhile. Maybe a smaller wrestler shows their grit by beat Briana Cage. Maybe a larger, beefier wrestler beats Ricocheta by just swatting her out of the air. Like 80% of what happens needs purpose.

I understand your reasoning, but I don't entirely agree. Why beat a Brian cage type jobber when you could challenge Brian Cage? Who cares if you beat a jobber with a Ricochet moveset when you could beat Ricochet?

The whole idea of having three completely and utterly forgettable, interchangeable jobbers was that nobody is challenging other actual wrestlers for the most part, so the jobbers are to at least see your CAW in action, decide what works and what doesn't, and then build a story from there.

I understand most people do not agree with me, and that's fine. I'm just sharing my ultra-important opinion that everyone wants.

Every match can't be a match where someone of value has to lose. You need matches where people can shine where those getting fucked don't matter. The idea is we see Wrestler X beat Jobber A and begin to believe in their abilities. We know the person they beat is a jobber so we're not entirely sold...

Every match on every card can't be a match of consequence. You need a few blowout squashes to break things up.

The thing is that outside of a few notable exceptions it's impossible to build momentum because the results of the matches are entirely random. If you're aiming for a title it's almost impossible to build up a streak and earn it.

I understand and agree, but we as a group have already determined that championship contenders are not determined by win streaks. The idea should be that two people beat any of the jobbers, it doesn't even matter which (and in my example, there are only the current ~6 to choose from) and then those two people face off.
And then when Wrestler A and Wrestler B both have a win streak (of as small as 2, one jobber and one other competitor, as just happened with Rory/Sheila) they face off and now one of them (Sheila) has a win streak of 3. And it all just builds from there.
Back when jobbers were introduced, it was suggested (and I agreed) that we wouldn't even include those matches in the histories on the wiki. I didn't even think the jobber matches needed to be uploaded to Youtube. They were solely to see what CAWs looked like in action, change up and moves that looked out of place, etc. Wrestler A beats Jobber X, and then Wrestler A has officially "arrived" in the WWA and can start feuding with another real and actual person.
